New Every Morning

God’s mercy is renewed every morning; every day is a second chance. Every time the sun rises in the East, it brings another opportunity to make amends. The warm rays of the sun pierces the human heart and engulfs it with an expectation of hope, reconciliation, and healing.

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases! His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness”. Lamentations 3:222-23 (ESV)

There are three (3) things that I believe will make our life meaningful while we live each day:

LIVE YOUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is the fire that keeps us going each day. To live your purpose is to fulfill what you were born to do. Missionaries were meant to preach the Word; soldiers were meant to fight and defend the motherland; teachers were meant to impart knowledge, and mold the mind and character of their students. Our purpose is what makes us who we are and points us into the direction towards achieving something worthwhile.

BE YOURSELF

It’s better to be your own original than to be a copy of somebody else. There’s nothing more tragic than to spend a lifetime trying to be mimic somebody, living in another person’s dream – and forgetting to live your own. The truth is, you will never be as great or as worse than those you try to imitate. Live your own life and seize the opportunities that comes without hesitation, use the Word of God to guide you; do not try to copy others. Be what God wants you to be.

SPEND MORE TIME WITH THOSE THAT MATTERS MOST TO YOU

It is useless to try to please people you don’t like, or, those who does not like you. Sometimes, it is better to leave it the way it is. You should rather spend more time in trying to please those that you love, those you really cared about. Your family, your friends – they deserve more time and attention. Life is short so we should do everything we can to live each day to the fullest and to make it count. To live a life without fear, without regrets, is what God wants each one of us to have.

This day we all have chance to make it right. Tomorrow is another day and another opportunity. Everybody deserves a second chance because God’s mercies are new every morning.
